Thanks for the tip for changing the date. One more please, I see that the watch has 4 hands: hour, minute, second and what is the 4 smaller hand for? Also, do you have a link for the watch's manual.

"...a fourth hand is a line on the dial that represents GMT..", No, it is not. It's rather IDL, "an imaginary line of longitude on the Earth's surface located at about 180 degrees east or west of the Greenwich Meridian".
* Do you perhaps know specs and the manuf. number for a "WD" model with a common window for the day of the month and the week? This one can't be #3 as it hasn't "World Diver" sign, only "WD". I have original one, it was purchased almost 40 years ago and it is still working.
* BTW, great blog about Orient watches, congratulations. Rgds.
Hi,
I live in New Zealand. I had never heard of Orient brand watches until a couple of years ago when I picked up an Orient Pepsi Mako. At the time I had been collecting Seiko watches and I found the quality of this watch to be so much better. I have been collecting Orient watches ever since.
It is hard to decide which of my Orients is my favourite, but I really like the CFT00001B. I first found out about this watch while on holiday in Hong Kong. I had bought the CEY04001B World Time and was given a copy of the 2007 Orient Catalogue. In the catalogue is a picture of Marcus Gronholm wearing the CFT00001B. I just knew I had to get one. This picture is my tribute to the photo from that catalogue.
My collection of Orients now exceeds 20 and will continue to grow because I know that I can rely on the quality and workmanship of the Orient range.
Orient produce the best watch for your money in the world.

Dear Mr Tony
I just ask about orient world diver. how to change the date??
Hans,
The date is changed using the pusher at 2 o'clock on the case.. Day is set using the crown at first position..
Thanks for the tip for changing the date. One more please, I see that the watch has 4 hands: hour, minute, second and what is the 4 smaller hand for? Also, do you have a link for the watch's manual.

Hi Luis,
There are only the three hands.. What you are seeing as a fourth hand is a line on the dial that represents GMT..
Sorry, no manual..
Cheers
Tony
